Why This Resource Exists
Idaho law makes many government records available, subject to exemptions and agency review. Access is still divided by record owner. The Bannock County Sheriff documents county booking and release events. The Idaho Department of Correction operates the Resident/Client Search for state custody, community status, and discharge information. IDOC and county offices supervise different forms of parole, probation, and pretrial release. Federal prison records appear through the Bureau of Prisons, while immigration custody uses a separate ICE system.
This site gathers those release-record routes, offender searches, supervision lookups, and request instructions without pretending they are one database. It distinguishes a roster disappearance from a confirmed release, a transfer from community release, and a tentative date from an actual release event.
What Readers Can Find
The pages are organized around the source that owns each record and the type of release question being asked.
- The home page provides the full named-person search and Bannock County release-record request path.
- Projected Release, VINELink Inmate Search, and Probation & Parole address future dates, alerts, and supervision.
- Facility pages identify the four Bannock County-area detention and corrections locations covered by the research.
- Jail roster and IDOC search instructions explain why current custody and completed release require different sources.
- Booking-photo and release-record pages explain how to make a narrow request to the responsible office.
What This Site Cannot Do
Bannock County Released Inmates is privately operated. It is not connected with Bannock County, the Sheriff’s Office, a jail, IDOC, the Commission of Pardons and Parole, or any other government agency. It cannot make an official custody determination or provide legal advice.
- It cannot release, detain, or transfer a person.
- It cannot post bond, arrange visits, or send funds for a visitor.
- It cannot change a roster, court file, IDOC profile, or VINE event.
- It cannot guarantee that a government phone number, fee, address, or operating detail remains unchanged.
Only the sheriff, corrections department, court, or other record owner can issue an official custody, charge, or release confirmation.
Search Partners
Some pages contain search boxes supplied by third-party providers. Those providers control their own results, terms, and prices. If a visitor follows a tool into a paid enrollment, Bannock County Released Inmates may receive a referral fee. That support helps keep the public reference pages available at no charge, but it does not give this site control over a partner’s data, billing, or search outcome.
